The Children’s Bedroom Suite houses eight identical bedrooms, all with an accessible ensuite. Each has first-class specialist equipment including full room hoisting, height adjustable cots, and fully automated adjustable beds with pressure relieving mattresses. Large doors provide direct access to the outdoor space, where children and families can soak up the sunshine.
We want children to feel right at home during their stay, so we have made sure they can choose the finishing touches that match their unique personalities - including bedding and cushions. Our suites are kitted out with plenty of storage space for personal belongings, space for a TV and DVD player for some much-needed entertainment, and everything required to appropriately care for them during their stay.
The central nurse’s station will see a team of Charlie House nurses prepare and monitor the care and support for each child during their stay. There are also two specialist bathing rooms with height adjustable baths complete with spa facilities enabling a relaxing alternative to showering.
The Therapeutic Play Area acts as a base to deliver therapeutic and emotional support sessions for children, siblings, and parents in a safe, calm environment.
