Since Charlie House was founded in 2011 our vision has been to build a specialist care facility in Aberdeen, because we don’t think it is acceptable for North East families to have to travel more than 100 miles to get support, respite or palliative care when they need it.
Families are at the very heart and centre of what we do and we understand the support they need to care for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. Our specialist facility in Aberdeen will provide vital support, services, respite and end of life care to babies, children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions for many years to come.
At Charlie House, we believe all children in the North-east of Scotland with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions should receive the support they require so they can live life to the full and make memories for the whole family to treasure.
